The small apartment facility is close to the western village entry of ▶ Adelianos Campos in a quiet byway.

It includes 12 holiday flats which are functionally furnished. Each apartment has a separate bedroom, a shower bathroom with WC, a kitchenette with refrigerator, an air conditioning system and a furnished balcony or terrace.

All rooms have Internet access (ADSL WiFi).

Adelianos Campos is one of the hotel suburbs of ▶ Rethymnon on the island of ▶ Crete, in the eastern part of the bay.

During the season, the supply with restaurants, shops and touristic facilities of many kind is very rich.

Plenty of watersport offers can be found along the 15 kms long beach. The ▶ Atlantis Dive Center has its seat on the beach of one of the hotels in the neighbourhood.

Adele is one of the villages above the eastern half of the bay of ▶ Rethymnon.

Down by the beach, the suburb of ▶ Adelianos Campos spreads in either direction, assembling the district's bigger hotel sites.

The Bell' Elen Apartments are located close to the western village exit in a distance of 200 meters from the miles long sandy beach.

In the neighbourhood there are supermarkets, restaurants, tavernas, bars, shops, two doctor's offices and a pharmacy.

A bus stop is 50 meters from the house. During the season, hourly public busses go from there during daytime and in the evening to ▶ Heraklion (79 kms) and ▶ Chania (65 kms), as well as every 30 minutes to the city (6 kms).

Iraklion airport is 84 kms away, Hania airport 70 kms. With respect to the winding character of the motor highway, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.

A rental car will make you independent of public buses and tour organizers. We recommend to hire a car straight from the airport which also allows you an individual journey to our place.

The car rental agency Eurocars (▶ www.eurocars-crete.com) is said to be particularly reliable. Their website includes most comprehensive information on insurance, payment and all other important items.

In front of the two-storey building there is a well-kept, lush green garden with a small sun terrace.

There are also some chairs, a sun umbrella and a small charcoal grill.

Vis-à-vis another byway leads to the beach and to the Vista Pool Bar which is open for all Bell' Elen guests.

The kitchenette has an electric hob with two plates, a sink and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.

The essential pots and pans, dishes and plates, cutlery and glassware are available. On request, the landlady will also provide you with an electric kettle or coffee-maker.

Good breakfast is available at the Vista Pool Bar by the path to the beach.

Numerous restaurants to any taste and budget string together along the main street of ▶ Adelianos Campos.

Very popular are the grill restaurant ▶ Mr. Gyros by the western village border and ▶ Taverna Levantes in the eastern half of the village (1,000 meters), and so is ▶ Taverna Kellari in the neighbouring village of ▶ Platanias (600 meters).

The nearest LIDL market with a rich choice of budget imported foodstuffs is located in the neighbouring village of Tsesmes (1 km).

On the more than 15 kms long sandy beach that lines the bay of ▶ Rethymnon there are plenty of sports and watersports on offer.

This includes volleyball, windsurfing, water skiing, paragliding, sailing, wetbikes, jet skiing, pedaloes and much more.

Bars, discotheques and a colourful nightlife can be found in ▶ Adelianos Campos and in the neighbouring villages of ▶ Platanias and ▶ Pigianos Campos during the season as well, and all-year in the picturesque Venetian old town of Rethymnon.

As the house is just 700 meters from the nearest entrance to the National Road, from here the whole West of ▶ Crete reveals itself for exploration.
